THE DOWNLOAD OPTION...

This option works great for international folks, as there are no shipping charges to pay.  It is also great for all of you in the US who want to save a little money on shipping & handling costs.  In fact, it's great if you just want to save a little money, period.  The download option is between about $27 or $32 cheaper than the actual physical product if you live in the United States (depending on whether you live in KS or not), and MUCH less expensive if you live outside the US (remember, no shipping charges). 

However, you do need to have some modest technical skills in order to do the download method.  Downloading the files to your computer should be easy (basically just "click & point".)  Once you have downloaded the files to your computer, you can listen to them right from your computer, burn yourself a CD, or load them onto your IPOD or MP3 player.  Because each computer, program, and IPOD player is slightly different, Cynthia can NOT offer you technical assistance with doing these things.  Therefore, If you are not tech savvy enough to figure out what to do with the files once they have been saved to your computer, then please order the actual kit instead of the downloads.

The Pros of ordering the Downloads over the Physical Kit....

                        1)  Cheaper...especially for international folks

                         2) Faster....you don't have to wait for it to ship to you.  Cynthia will usually send you an e-mail with instructions for accessing your downloads within 24-36 hours (usually before then).

                         3)  Good for environment....less resources used in shipping

                         4)  Files on your computer...you can make as many copies for personal use as you would like.  (Cynthia does ask that you adhere to the "good karma" rule and refrain from making illegal copies of her work for others.)

The Drawbacks of ordering the Downloads over the Physical Kit....

                         1) You must have a moderate degree of "Tech Savvy" to deal with downloadable files....Probably if you are on this site, you possess these skills, but just in case, they are:  the ability to "save" a file by following simple instructions, and the knowledge of how to listen to mp3 files on your computer, or burn yourself a CD (or upload to an ipod or MP3 player).  If you're not sure if you have these skills, then you might want to go ahead & buy the physical kit.    (If you want to "test" to find out, then try downloading 1 or 2 of the tracks on the "Free Audio" page on this site....you can access this from the navigation bar.)

                          2)  With the downloadable option, you don't get the cute little CD Album Holder....seriously. This might be a small detail to some, but to others, especially those who are going to burn CDs from the files, the cute little album with the "magic eye" design on the front might be important. 

Also, in the physical kit, all of the CDs are individually labeled, and also have the "magic eye" design printed on them.  If you plan on burning yourself CDs, you might just want to go ahead and get the physical kit, since this way you won't have to do all the labeling, etc. yourself.  However, if you want to save a few bucks, you could still get the "Downloadable Package", and label the CDs yourself and keep them in separate paper or plastic sleeves. It just depends on your aesthetic preferences.  (For gift giving, the physical kit is recommended.)
