This three-week RUNE BASICS teleclass series is for those who would like to get started REALLY working with and reading on THE RUNES.  

The runes are the ancient alphabet of the pre-Germanic people of Northern Europe.  

They are also a system of divination used to get guidance about right action and possible future outcomes.   

For those who know how to read them, the runes are used in a way similar to the way that others use the Tarot, astrology, or I-Ching.

When properly understood & worked with, the runes can also act as conductors for interfacing with powerful cosmic energies, 

and be used to influence one's physical reality....

COURSE DESCRIPTION     

Topics planned to be covered in this series include how to do basic rune readings with simple spreads, the pronunciation of the name of each rune, the basic meanings in readings of each of the 24 Elder Futhark runes (including mythological, astrological, and elemental info, when it is applicable), and the division of the runes into the Three Aetts (Aettir) and what the three sub-sets of runes signify in readings.  By considering the three aetts, we will be learning to work with the runes as a tool for getting guidance on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels.  

     In class 1, we will cover how to properly draw runes for a reading (including suggestions for setting the right energy by invoking the power of the runes & runic deities ahead of time).  We will also begin covering the division of the runes into the Three Aetts, and how the runes are a cosmic map of the development of your soul.  We will focus on the first eight runes in this first class.  In the remaining classes, we will delve into the second and third rows of the runes, and go deeper into the cosmic meanings of the runes as a whole.  

    If time allows, we may also do some live rune readings during a class or two--either me (Psychic Cynthia) doing a simple reading for one of you, or one of you reading for someone else on the call (if you are brave and would like to try your skills in real time--completely optional, but the runes do respond well to the brave, smile).   

      The emphasis in these beginning RUNE BASICS classes will be on how to use the runes in readings and their possible meanings when used as a divination tool.  We will also touch upon the shamanic and mystical nature of the runes, and how they are connected to certain deities and elemental energies.  (In future tele-classes, we may explore the topic of rune shamanism and rune magic more deeply, but first we must get you orientated to the BASIC nature of the runes.) 

      In addition to the live teleclasses (conducted via telephone), I have created companion videos & documents for you to go along with this course.  You will receive access to your first set of companion videos & hand-outs immediately upon registering.  In other words, as soon as you have signed-up by paying your tuition, you can immediately start learning more about the runes!
