A New Teacher Has EmergedI'm very excited! Today I spoke with Georgia Alexander about taking over the Fall 2008 "Spiritual Psychic Development"
class and using my material (especially on channeling) so that the group can continue to learn & grow together.
Our class is almost over, and several students wanted to continue. However, my schedule with clients & other upcoming
classes really doesn't allow for me to keep going with an on-going weekly class like this. Sometimes there's
just not enough of me to go around! The inspiration to begin training people
in teaching my spiritual-psychic development material came to me at the end of September (2008). It only makes sense
that Georgia would be the first one to do this. She is a professional hynotherapist, extremely experienced in leading
people in states of meditation, trance, and higher consciousness. Georgia took a channeling class with me last spring,
and immediately demonstrated exceptional talent. I feel that she has the right energy and the right intentions to bring
this information out to the world and to put her own unique special touch on it! I
have agreed to provide Georgia with all the materials she needs to keep going with the class for as long as she wants, and
have also given her permission to use my books & CDS in the class. Georgia & I plan on "checking in"
with each other once a week or every other week so that I can offer her any additional support she needs, and also help her
keep things running smoothly. Furthermore, I have agreed to make occasional "guest teaching appearances" at
the class, (perhaps once a month or every 6 weeks) whenever she feels she would like me to.
I also intend to continue to keep this Spiritual Psychic Website running, as well as the Spiritual Psychic Yahoo Group, so
that students have the resoures they need to continue to grow. I thank
you for taking the time to read this, and for being part of the Spiritual Psychic Development family. Until next time.....Many
Blessings, Cynthia

Third Eye MeditationIn the most recent recording I prepared for this site (Awakening Your Inner Psychic--Part 1), we went through a meditation
for opening the "third eye". Physically speaking, the third eye is "located" in the center of the
forehead, a few inches higher than the physical eyes. Even though you can't see it with your physical eyes, the
third eye is swirling pool of energy and consciousness that helps to connect your spiritual energy with the spiritual energy
of the entire Universe.
The Third Eye is also the seat of psychic power in the chakra body. It is the place
where spiritual energy moves from the crown chakra and out into the rest of the physical body, channeling guidance to your
conscious mind in the form of memories, pictures, images, and sensations. Even if you weren't consciously trying
to develop your psychic abilities, if you focused on strengthening your third eye, your psychic gifts would increase naturally
& spontaneously. One of the quickest
ways to strengthen & open your third eye is to sit quietly breathing and relaxing. Close your eyes, and then with
your eyes still closed, shift your gaze up towards your third eye, in the center of your forehead. Continue to breathe
deeply, and use your mental intention to strengthen & grow your third eye. Imagine a ball of dazzling dark
blue light in the center of your forehead spinning faster and faster, and growing larger & larger with each breathe. With
each breathe, feel your third eye getting bigger and bigger, and vibrating faster and faster, until it reaches the perfect
size & rate for itself at this time. Then just sit quietly, allowing the psychic & intuitive visions to come
to you.
Practice this meditation for a few minutes each day (especially as a warm-up before you do other meditation
or psychic work). Gradually increase the amount of time that you spend doing this, until you are able to consciously
connect with your third eye chakra for 5-10 minutes at a time, or longer.
To further deepen & open your third
eye connection, also listen to "Part 1: Awakening Your Inner Psychic" on this website.
Until Next

Readings & InterpretationIn our most recent class last Tuesday night, we actually did clairvoyant/clairsentient/clairaudient readings for each other.
It was fascinating to watch how confident & relaxed the class become once they got into it.
We started by writing
our questions on a piece of paper, then giving them to a partner, who would handle the paper (without looking at the question)
and then deliver a reading based on what she felt, saw, and "sensed" while holding the paper in her hand.
In the first portion of the exercise, I guided students through using their psychic senses to do the "reading",
and then afterwards they wrote down their sensations. In the second part, students did verbal readings independent of
my guidance, and instead of writing down their perceptions, they were instructed to just let it flow out through the spoken
word and relay it to their partner.
Some seemed to find it more easier to rely their impressions through writing,
and others through the verbal process. Also, some partners found that when they were instructed to answer a certain
numbered question for each-other (for example, #2), that they actually ended up getting the answer to a different
numbered question.
A lot of discussion & questions came about how to *interpret* the information that was received,
and whether the person doing the reading, or the person who the reading was for, should interpret the sensations. It
is my philosophy that the person doing the reading is like a master storyteller who is "downloading" a
story for the other person from their higher self, and that the person receiving the reading is like an actor in the
story, or an audience who is hearing the story and will interpret in their own way. So the storyteller (in
this case, the reader) offers one interpretation of the story, which is very valid, but the audience (in this case, the sitter)
has his or her own interpretation of the story, which is also very valid. The two interpretations are woven
together to give you a deeper kind of truth.
Many sensations that come up in readings (such as colors or sounds)
have Universal meanings. For example, red often signifies passion, sexuality, speed, movement, anger or annoyance,
Universally speaking. A study of systems of symbiology can help you greatly in interpreting these Universal
Meanings. However, even more important than the Universal meaning of a color, image, sound, or sensation, is the
emotional content that comes up behind the sensation. This is why I am always leading spiritual-psychic
students to look for the emotional content, and to ask themselves, "What does this *feel* like"?
For
example, if you see the color red, and then when you look for the emotional content, you feel energized, excited, and happy,
then you can safely say that this is a positive indicator of energy, change, and movement. On the other hand, if you
see red, and the emotional background around this sensation is anger, or frustration, then probably this would seem to indicate
a "lesser evolved" energy expression of red.
I hope you found this helpful.
Many Blessings, Cynthia
