Rune Basics is my signature, introductory course over the Runes that will help you to understand the basic meanings of all 24 Runes in the Elder Futhark as it relates to divination & spirituality.  

This course consists of 3 complete audio classes PLUS companion videos & writings. The audio classes themselves were recorded LIVE for you over a three-week period and then edited & divided into parts so as to ensure a pleasant listening experience—your audio classes combined are about 6 hours total, or 2 hours per class on average. 

In addition to the audio classes, also included are over 15 videos relating to the Runes, and more than 65 pages of written curriculum to assist you with learning the Runic related terms & concepts, including written reviews of all three audio classes.

     The Runes are an ancient & powerful divination system that when properly understood, also reveal a map of spiritual evolution for the soul.  In order to see this cosmic blueprint, one must start at the beginning of the Runes and work one’s way through the entire Futhark sequentially, rune by rune, coming to grasp the deeper meanings of each rune (and each row of runes) before moving on to the next.

    In these classes, we move through the Runes one-by-one, covering one entire row of Aett runes (or 8 runes) at a time in each class.  As time permits, we also discuss some simple spreads for using the Runes.  Students who already have Rune sets are particularly encouraged to work along with the Runes in each row separately for a bit to gain basic proficiency with rune divination & reading.

  These classes also delve into some of the basics of the Northern Mysteries and Norse Shamanism as it is related to the Runes and rune reading.  Concepts such as Wyrd, Orlog, and the Norns are introduced to help the aspiring Rune-Reader better understand the forces & cosmology underlaying the power of the Runes.  As part of your auxiliary course curriculum, I have created an in-depth guide for you relating to Helpful Terms & Definitions that will explain more about rune-terminology and the related Northern Mystery deities and concepts of Fate.

       Your class materials for each week/section also contain simple & easy-to-use handouts relating to the basic divination meanings for each row of eight runes, as well as a separate guide to help you with pronunciations for those runes & possible correspondences.
