"Year of Water Snake" reading with Cynthia

 In 2013, Cynthia is offering a limited number of personalized, one-on-one Chinese astrology "Year of Water Snake" reading sessions.  Since these readings require a significant amount of time & effort to construct the charts, analyze the data, and prepare for the sessions, Cynthia only has 10 slots available MAX for these readings, and will only offer this particular kind of reading in March & April of this year.  (Update:  There are now only 8 slots left as of Feb 15.)

The "Year of Water Snake" reading is based exclusively on your Chinese astrology chart.  As part of this reading, Cynthia & you will go over your overall Chinese astrology profile (including the meaning of your year, month, day and hour signs, and how these all harmonize together).  Then, Cynthia will discuss with you in detail your prospects for the Chinese New Year ahead, including outlining the specific months which are most "lucky" and spiritually expansive for you based on your 8 Chinese signs, and which ones are not so "lucky" (generally times that are best to "lay low").  If appropriate, you will also receive specific suggestions based on your own unique birth chart about how you can use Feng Shui & other simple magical techniques to balance your energies & enhance your fortune in 2013.

The cost of the Chinese astrology "Year of Snake" reading is $275.  This includes the construction of your complete & in-depth "Four Pillars" chart, your Chinese astrology profile reading, as well as your "Year Ahead" reading.....in essence, it is two readings in one.  The entire process takes about an hour to an hour & fifteen minutes.  The reading is conducted via telephone, or with prior approval, you can have your reading in person (assuming you are not allergic to cats & can do stairs).  Cynthia will record your "Year of Snake" reading for you, and then mail the CD out to you, along with any relevant written material, including your "Four Pillars" Chinese astrology chart.

Due to the amount of time & care it takes to prepare for this kind of reading, Cynthia only has about 10 slots available this year for the Chinese astrology "Year of Snake" readings.  Once these are gone, they are gone, because Cynthia simply cannot commit to doing too many of these readings, as all of the charts have to be calculated BY HAND to ensure the highest degree of accuracy.

To reserve your session, you must pre-pay for the reading below, and then complete a very short info form to provide Cynthia with the necessary birth info for setting up your charts.  Once you have pre-paid, you will receive an automatic receipt from paypal via e-mail confirming your reservation.  Then, within 1 or 2 business days (not counting Saturday or Sunday), Cynthia will write you back to schedule your reading.

All Chinese astrology "Year of Snake" readings will be scheduled for March & April on a first-come, first served basis.  Just so you know, there will be NO reading slots available for March 15th-March 25th (due to Cynthia teaching a seminar, followed by a Spring Renewal break).  Therefore, all "Year of Snake" readings will be scheduled for either March 1st-March 14th, or March 26th-April 30th, on Tuesdays through Saturdays (sorry, no Sunday or Monday appointments are available due to other commitments).

Please note:  If you are extremely busy in the next couple of months, and don't think you will have time to "get away" for an hour or so to do a private phone/in-person reading in either March or April, but you would still  like to be able to get the information about your Chinese astrology & your year ahead in the Water Snake year, then you do have the option of just having Cynthia do a remote CD reading for you....if this is what works best for you, then just indicate so when you fill in your birth info on the "info & contact form".  Thank you.

Are you wondering what a Chinese astrology chart looks like?  For those who are unfamiliar with this system, here is an example of a basic Chinese Astrology "Four Pillars" chart that Cynthia created to do a reading for one of her clients.....

Strongest Element:  FIRE             Weak or Missing:  Wood, Metal   

Yin-Yang Balance:   Yin: 0   Yang: 8  Needs Yin!       

This gives you an idea of the kind of chart & info that Cynthia will be working with in your reading.  Although this is the basic fundamental chart of Chinese astrology (equivalent to your "natal chart" in Western astrology), it is just a starting point, as there are other charts involved in the reading too, including the "Ming Shu" or (life fate chart) and the "Luck Pillars" or "Life Cycle" chart.  

 As you can see from looking at the above chart, Chinese astrology uses an entirely different system than Western astrology.  It may look a little bit unfamiliar to you.  Cynthia will explain it all to you in your reading in terms that you can understand.  The benefit of Chinese astrology is that it is very accessible to even someone who is completely unfamiliar with any astrological system at all....Chinese astrology is very shamanic & totemic based, and as such, it is easier for most people to relate to with just a little bit of explanation. 

Chinese astrology is also extremely practical.  The whole point of having this kind of reading is so that you can learn to understand yourself better, as well as how your own innate energies are interacting with the Universal energies of the current month/year, and how you can better harmonize with these energies in order to increase your good fortune, and to minimize your bad fortune.  Chinese astrology is not as "soft & fluffy" as its modern day Western counter-part...it acknowledges that we all have good periods & bad periods, and it helps you to make the most of your good/lucky periods, while advising how you can best minimize the damage during your un-lucky periods.

For example, the client whose chart is shown above must watch out in 2013, because FIRE is her strongest element, and we are in a WATER year in 2013, and Water puts out Fire.  Based on this knowledge, Cynthia would recommend certain energtic "cures" to help protect & strengthen the client's energy field in 2013, as well as perhaps to help enhance good fortune and minimize the tendency towards bad fortune (due to the negative interaction of Fire & Water). Also, this person has MONKEY & HORSE in her Chinese chart, which are two signs that do not get along so well with Snake, and therefore adjustments will need to be made in order to avoid or minimize heartaches, disappointments, and frustrations in 2013.  On the other hand, the Dragon aspect of this client's self does get along fairly well with Snake (since Snake is called "little Dragon"), so it may be that by tuning into this aspect of herself, progress can still be made in 2013.
