~A Time to Ponder Your Mind-Body Connection~
I also wanted to make some positive changes in our household diet because my husband
is ten years older than me. Although we are both in very excellent physical health, neither of our bodies are getting
any younger, and I figure that now is a very good time to start eating healthy, so that when we eventually get into our "older"
years, we can arrive with healthier, stronger, and more vital bodies, instead of sapping all the life out of ourselves by
eating the standard high fat, low nutrition diet that so many of us in America still eat.
With all of these thoughts in mind, back in November, I eliminated virtually all meat from our household diet, and GREATLY
reduced the amount of dairy products that I eat or cook with as well (although I haven't managed to give dairy up completely....I
love it too much). So now, in place of meat
& gobs of cheese, I & my husband are now eating things like roasted vegetables, raw food wraps, vegan soups, red pepper
quinoa & brown rice, lentils, and lots and lots of fresh fruits & veggies, plus nuts, seeds, and some dried fruits
as well. I'm also buying organic as much as I can, and instead of purchasing frozen convenience foods from the store,
I am making my own frozen snacks & dinners using leftovers from the healthy soups & entrees I have made myself (this
way, there is none of that MSG or preservative crap in them).
I must say that after nearly 3 months of eating this way, I feel GREAT.
I'm not a total "saint", since I haven't eliminated coffee or sugar from my diet (what can I say...I love my espresso
& my sweets). And I do often end up having very small amounts of meat maybe once a week or every two weeks, because
sometimes we go out to a restaurant to eat where it is very hard to go total vegan or even vegetarian (but even in these cases,
I only eat the smallest amount of flesh possible, as at this point in time, I need to be very careful about ingesting
meat, because my body is no longer used to eating those kinds of fats or toxins.) I have definitely noticed a change within myself on ALL levels....on the physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional levels. My body feels lighter, my emotions
are now more even-keeled, my thoughts are more clear & positive, and my spiritual connection seems to be stronger than
it has been in years. The quality of channeled & psychic readings that I am able to give has also increased exponentially.

I know that
vegetarianism is not appropriate for all body types, as each body has its different needs. However, I am
sharing my story about these health related changes that I have made in my life, so that you will understand that health really DOES have an impact on your spiritual development.
On a physical level, your body is literally composed of the food that you eat
(as well as the air that you breathe, and the water you drink). This
body that you are living in is the “CONDUCTOR” for the spiritual energy that you receive and send out.
Therefore, if you only put junk into your conductor, then it is likely that your connection is not going to
be as clear or pure. With all of this in mind, I would invite
you to make the most of this retrograde Mars in Virgo time, and take the next eleven weeks to re-evaluate & re-assess
how your health habits are working to support your spiritual development (or not) and what you might feel led to
do differently in the weeks & years ahead. Even if you are not yet ready to make
the changes you feel are necessary, you can use this period of time to reflect, do research, talk to your doctor, visit with
a nutritionist or personal coach, or consult any other kind of “expert” whom you think can help you figure out
the best approach for you personally to tweak your physical health practices so that they best support your spiritual development
& growth.
