Dear Friends, I hope you are having a wonderful day. I know that I promised
you I would send you a little update about the full moon lunar eclipse happening this Saturday morning, so here it is :)
The
first part of this newsletter is just a few short paragraphs about this weekend & the next few days. The rest of
this blog is about how this particular eclipse might affect you for the next SEVERAL MONTHS ahead. So for best results,
please read BOTH parts....
This eclipse is taking place early morning on this next Saturday, December 10th. It is occurring
at the time of the full moon, when the sun and moon are opposite from each other, which is what makes it a lunar eclipse.
As you probably already know, full moons tend to bring out the "crazy" in people anyway, so with their being a total
lunar eclipse on top of it, you can expect the energies to be pretty HIGH.
What that means for you is that you might be
feeling a little intense for the next 72 hours or so. Depending on your exact energetic make-up, you will probably
either have MORE energy than usual, or less. Most people experience MORE energy than usual around full moon eclipses
(although there are exceptions), so it is important to CHANNEL that extra energy into something fun or useful for you.
Otherwise, you might find yourself getting irritated, anxious, or overwhelmed.
By the way, lunar eclipses in particular
do stimulate the emotions too, so watch out for "melt-downs". If you can, try to avoid being around
people who like to "push your buttons" for the next 48 hours or so, or otherwise, you might find that you easily
"lose it" and blow up on them.
Luckily,
this particular eclipse is occurring with the moon in Gemini, so emotions may not be as high as they usually
are during a lunar eclipse, since Gemini is known to be a more "rationale" sign (LOL...if you have ever known any
Geminis, you know how truly "rationale" they are....smile...but let's just say that they are not usually as "emotional"
as the other signs).
If you are out shopping this weekend, I would recommend that you
be VERY careful & cautious, since people's tempers might be a little higher being this close to the full moon eclipse...not
to mention, Mercury is still retrograde until Tuesday night, so communications & travel are still "sloppy" or
"unpredictable" at best.
This is the short term forecast for this weekend relating to the eclipse.
However, most eclipses set off some kind of new SIX MONTH cycle for each of us. I have written a little
bit more about his longer cycle below, so even if you are reading this after the eclipse, you can still benefit from
knowing more about the more long-term affects of Saturday's total lunar eclipse.
By the way, did you know that this is
the last total lunar eclipse for three years? There will be other lunar eclipses during this time,
but none of them will be "total". It must be pretty special!
Here's more about Saturday's lunar eclipse, and its more long term affects.....
