A MESSAGE FROM THE OTHER SIDE
Wow! Can't believe it's been almost a month since I last posted here.
I guess I've been busy teaching (Prosperity Magic & Mediumship 101 were my most recent classes) and writing inspiring
e-mail newsletters. Then there was the Thanksgiving holiday, and I took almost the entire week off, which was fabulous,
but now I am back again and ready to share with you and hopefully guide & inspire you on YOUR spiritual psychic path.
What comes to mind as I am sitting here writing is what happened to me on November 12th. I was eating lunch
at home as I normally do around 12:30. It was a particularly dark & overcast day, so I turned on the ceiling lamp
in the dining room. The lamp has five bulbs so it lights up the room nicely. However, as I was sitting there eating,
I noticed one of the bulbs blinking. It does that sometimes, and usually it will stop if you just tap the bulb.
But this time it didn't.
In fact, it blinked a couple of short times (like it usually does) and then this was
followed by a series of much longer "blinks", if you can call it that. As I watched the single light go off
and then on again, I felt the hairs on the back of my arms stand up. I also noticed a shift in my pet parrots who were
with me in the room. They got suddenly quiet, except that the double yellow-headed Amazon (Columbo), made the "warning
call" that he only makes when he sees (or senses) someone unfamiliar.
When
the lights start blinking, and the animals start acting funny, I know that it usually means I am getting a message from the
"Other Side".
It didn't take me long to figure out who it was. You see, November
12th is a highly significant day to me. It's actually significant because it is the day after November
11th, which is my mother's birthday. She has been on the "Other Side" since 1996, and comes back to "visit"
almost every year right around her birthday. And guess how she announces her presence? Through the lights.
It's not uncommon for Spirits to make themselves known through the flickering of lights or other so-called "malfunctions"
of appliances, technology, or electrical equipment. Why? Electricity is easier for Spirits to manipulate than
matter, since they are pure energy, and therefore more similar to electricity than regular physical matter.
So
the next time you notice the lights blinking, or your appliances "misbehaving", you might want to ask yourself if
there is someone from the Other Side trying to give you a message. It usually helps if you just ask, (either outloud
or in your mind), "Who are you?". You can also ask, "What is it you would like to tell me?"
Many times, those on the other side just want to say, "Hello", but sometimes they will have more specific messages
to give you. If you just relax, close your eyes, and take a few deep breaths, you can usually get a sense of what they
are trying to communicate.
